In the ever-changing, fast-paced world of design, every so often it becomes imperative that we step back, take a breath, and remember why we do what we do; to go back to the basics of what makes good design great. We face a new era in the publishing industry, one that is increasingly difficult for creatives to navigate. Print, digital, social media, online marketing . . . with all the various platforms and outlets how do we maintain our creative attention?

Our focus in the PubU design track this year will be:
INSPIRATION & EDUCATION.

On November 7 and 8 six design industry leaders will teach us how to collaborate, communicate, and stay creative. They will help us design for print and digital media and instruct us on which fonts and colors work best for both. I can’t wait!

WITH THE CONSTANT EVOLUTION THAT IS HAPPENING IN PUBLISHING, THESE TWO DAYS WILL BE AN AVENUE OF LEARNING THAT IS CRITICAL TO GROWING BOTH PERSONALLY AND CREATIVELY.

We want the industry's design professionals to take back to their office, home, or coffee shop, inspiring ideas for today’s book covers and tomorrow’s websites. Because, let’s face it, whether it was fifty years ago or just yesterday, good design is always good design.

Here is what you have to look forward to this year at PubU’s design track:
