Leadership Summit offers a deeper experience for Christian publishers

by Stan Jantz, executive director, ECPA

Stan Jantz

Leadership Summit, the annual ECPA conference for Christian publishing executives, has always offered an opportunity for industry leaders to hear engaging speakers, network with colleagues, and discuss the latest trends.

This year, the ECPA Leadership Summit, held on May 1 and 2 in Washington DC, promises to go deeper.

For one thing, the conference will be at a venue unlike any other—the Museum of the Bible. Those who attend Leadership Summit will experience this world-class collection of historic artifacts and interactive displays about the world’s greatest book—a book that’s at the heart of all we do—in a deeper way.

Next, Leadership Summit will present speakers who will share ideas and insights about a deeper way to live (U.S. Senate Chaplain Barry Black), deeper innovation (Pastor Bryan Loritts), deeper discipleship (Michelle Sanchez), deeper thinking (Professor Alan Jacobs), deeper messaging (Montse Alvarado), deeper integrity (Chaplain Charles Causey), and a deeper look at God’s Word (Mart Green and Bobby Gruenewald).

Plus, you will have a chance to participate in deeper round table discussions with your industry colleagues about these important topics and their impact on publishing strategies.

Night at the Museum

On May 1st, the first day of Leadership Summit will conclude with a very special event, the 40th annual Christian Book Award® celebration, featuring a sit-down dinner and several surprises, including the Book of the Year and the recipient of the Kenneth N. Taylor Lifetime Achievement Award. And of course, the Christian Book Award® will be presented to books in 11 categories.  Be sure to make your reservation for this celebration dinner. In order to cover a portion of the cost of what promises to be a memorable night, we have set a modest ticket price of $29.

Setting a Record Pace

Early-bird prices for Leadership Summit will be in effect until March 15 and offer $200 off.  Because ECPA is underwriting a portion of the overall costs, the early bird prices are the same as previous years. I’m excited to tell you that registrations for Leadership Summit are coming in at a record pace. We are so grateful for this early response.

If you haven’t yet registered, may I encourage you to get your team together and make plans to attend Leadership Summit. It’s going to be bigger, better, and deeper than ever before!
